Wine Tasting in the Willamette Valley of Oregon

One of our favorite pastimes on Memorial Day weekend or Thanksgiving Day weekend is wine-tasting.  Oregon is fast becoming known as an excellent place to grow grapes, and we’re especially known for our Pinot Noirs.

We are members of a couple of local wineries:

Willamette Valley Vineyards is only a few minutes from our house.  They have an absolutely beautiful winery.  The wine tasting room has a view of the valley, and they host many weddings and other events.  One of our favorite wines is their Griffin Creek Merlot, which they make using grapes from the Southern Oregon/Grants Pass area.

We also recently joined the Eola Hills Winery wine club.  They’ve got some absolutely wonderful wines there and a port that is to die for!

But the reason I bring these wineries and wine tasting up is  because I wanted you to see this necklace!  It’s in genuine 925 sterling silver, has 1.40 carats total weight of lavender tanzanites and also .01 carats total weight of genuine diamond accents.  This is the PERFECT necklace to wear on your wine tasting tour!  It’s only $54 at Northwest Jewelry!  See more here.
