Back when I first started my website, I wanted to feature fine diamond and gemstone jewelry, but also fossils and artwork. Since that time, I’ve downsized to gold and silver jewelry only, mainly because I wasn’t able to do justice to the fossils and artwork.
But my husband and I are collectors of different types of [...]

Here’s the last of the shipment Northwest Jewelry received the other day. Coincidentally, both of the remaining rings contain green stones–peridots and emeralds!
I love this peridot ring. I’m calling it a peridot vine ring, because it looks viney (is that a word??) to me!Â
Would you believe this sucker has TEN carats of peridot???!!!! Yep! It’s really [...]

Northwest Jewelry just received a shipment in today. All rings, and almost all diamond rings–either right-hand rings, wedding bands, or anniversary bands. These are all high-quality and I was very impressed by the cut of the diamonds. These rings all sparkle and all are much prettier in person than in the pictures!
Here’s one of my favorites:
This [...]

I went to Linens-N-Things yesterday and they have all their Christmas stuff up! They had a fully decorated Christmas tree and all the trimmings to buy. It’s not even Halloween yet!Â
But it reminded me that every year, I promise myself I’ll do my Christmas shopping early, so I’ll be able to enjoy the season more and [...]

We had only 2-1/2 days in Denver, a whole list of things to do, and we accomplished only a few of them. I previously showed you Red Rocks natural amphitheatre. We also went to the Genesis concert–I could have kicked myself for forgetting my camera–I would have loved to get some close-ups of Phil Collins [...]
