Okay, this is really cool. Really, really cool! Take a look at this sapphire and diamond star necklace:
Okay, this necklace is very pretty on its own. The outside star is made of 1.20 carats of genuine blue sapphires, and the inside star is made of .10 carats of I-J color, I clarity diamonds.
But what makes this necklace so cool is that it’s actually a two-piece necklace. You can wear it three different ways–either as shown, or wear just the blue sapphire star, or wear the really cute dainty diamond star by itself!

I think you’ll love this tanzanite ring–I do! The center stone is an oval tanzanite, then two round pink sapphires on each side, then two smaller oval tanzanites, and then two round diamonds. The tanzanites are bluish purple, not the pale purple you see sometimes. And it sparkles!!

Okay, here’s a couple of classic style rings. I’ve got several of each of them and have them in white gold and two-tone gold. Actually, the two-tone gold really looks just like yellow gold, so if you want one of these in yellow gold, choose that one.
Looking at the pictures, you’d think the stone carat weight would be the same. But it’s not. Both of them have a 1.26 carat princess cut blue topaz center stone, but the white gold one has .78 carats of blue topaz side stones and the yellow gold one has .34 carats of blue topaz side stones. The yellow one has .01 carats of diamond accents and the yellow gold one has .05 carats of G-H color, SI clarity diamonds in between the center stone and the side stones. All of the rings are size 7.
You can have the white gold one for $129 and the yellow gold one for $139. It was a little more because of the extra diamond weight.

Here’s a couple of our new pieces.
I had a few of these diamond flower necklaces in stock about a year ago and they just flew out of the store! They’re a perfect necklace for everyday wear and are small enough to be appropriate for a young girl, but also great for an adult as well. Just keep in mind this isn’t a large necklace–it’s only 12 mm long. I managed to get two of these and they’re priced to sell at only $67 apiece.
Okay, these amethyst dangle chandelier earrings are really, really cool. They look much more dramatic in person than they do in the picture. There’s a whopping 16.30 carats of heart shaped amethysts in these earrings–yep, heart shaped, so they’re a perfect romantic gift, or if you’re a girl, just buy them for yourself and be done with it. I wish I would’ve gotten them listed before Valentine’s Day, but there’s only so much time in the day and my priorities were watching Sober House, of which I had several episodes saved–(ya gotta love any show that makes Andy Dick look like the normal one!) We spent a really fun day in Puerta Vallarta. Right outside the ship was a Saturday market-type place and a restaurant. As in many places in Mexico, bartering is welcomed and enjoyed by all! LaDonna and I both got sunglasses for less than 1/2 price, and Jesse got a shirt or something. Here’s Rick and LaDonna in front of the Saturday market–Jesse is at the very far right in the white t-shirt.
Immediately to the right of the Saturday market was a really cool Mexican restaurant. They made excellent margaritas 
and great burritos. All over the walls, customers had placed dollar bills on which they’d written different things–here’s ours:

Outside the restaurant and in front of the Saturday market, a small band formed with a guy taking photographs for people and dancing with customers. Here’s LaDonna dancing with him–Jesse is in the foreground.
We had an AWESOME time in Puerto Vallarta. It’s one of my favorite spots in Mexico. The next day we went to Mazatlan. Unfortunately, I forgot my camera, so didn’t get any pictures. We basically spent the day shopping and of course, eating and drinking! On my next post, I’ll finalize our trip with some pictures of Cabo San Lucas!

I’ve taken quite a long break from blogging, mostly due to various vacations, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Plus I just got a new camera and didn’t get around to downloading all the photos until today. Instead of focusing on new jewelry, I’m going to show you some pictures of our Mexican cruise, which we took in mid-December.
We left out of San Pedro Pier in Los Angeles. Here’s a view of the Sapphire Princess–it doesn’t show the whole ship unfortunately, but I took this photo from the inside of a van:

Following is a closer view. This is where the people met to go on their various excursions. Janelle and Eddie left for their excursion from here. Jesse, LaDonna, Rick and I all exited from the right side and went to a Saturday Market.
The next picture is a view of our ship from the Saturday Market. We initially thought we’d take a long walk into Puerto Vallarta, but only made it a few blocks past the Saturday Market, and then we went back to the Market and restaurant for lunch!
